Qualitative Researchs in Education themed panel in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sadegül AKBABA (Başkent University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehtap ÇAKAN (Gazi University) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Melek ÇAKMAK (Gazi University) were panelists under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Şener Büyüköztürk (Gazi University) was held on the scope of the scientific activities of 2011-2012 academic year of measurement and evaluation in education department. Our second panel which was held in cooperation with Gazi University, Gazi Education Faculty and Ankara Directorate of National Education was on Performance Asssessment in Primary Education. The panelists consisted of Prof. Dr. Şener BÜYÜKÖZTÜRK (Gazi University), Asst. Prof. Ömer KUTLU (Ankara University), Asst. Prof. Eren CEYLAN (Ankara University) and Dr. Seher ULUTAŞ (MEB) under the precidency of Prof. Dr. Ziya SELÇUK (Gazi University). Also disscussions on assessment of portfolio, project and performance tasks carried out in primary education took part in the panel. Lastly the Measurement Invariance themed conference by Instructor Dr. Emine ÖNEN was held.
